What Do You CHOOSE

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

I choose to learn myself and ways I can improve me

I choose to better understand my calling

I choose to know why I was created.

I choose to bring together people and form a connection

I choose to communicate instead of fight

I choose falcons over eagles, reason Unknown

I choose to light up instead of darken where necessary

I choose to bring forth what I know and keenly listen, understand, question and learn what I don’t

I choose to be open minded , to reason , not to follow blindly, to stand for the truth, to not raise my voice , to be humble to remain relevant.

I choose to speak out and not to force people towards my own idiology and beliefs, I choose you as friend , a confidant.

I choose health , rest , smart working over hard working.

I choose nature over busy cities , nurture for a great life , absence over a toxic parent.

I choose freedom , need over greed, seek over hide.

I choose not to turn a blind rage, despite my ever growing age.

Since I can’t choose my fate nor destiny I choose to best make use of my now.

I choose to be a father someday , I already am an uncle since that I couldn’t choose but the choice was great.

I choose to one day look someone in the eyes and say I do, to wave a pudgy hand to others and say I don’t.

I choose not to be heartbroken but this is life we live we love and hate.

I choose to stay clear of conflict, always comfort never contort the truth to befit me.

I choose to be God’s child at work not a twerk

I choose to be called by my name and also accept that it’s mine

I opt to be the unifying factor that’s much needed.

I choose to stay sane and let not stress nor depression on me gain

I choose to have what it takes to always break the negativity and fly the flag of positivity.

I choose to be me the original version and not fake it for the wrong company to admire me.

I choose the struggle for it’s trials last and make me strong .

I choose to experience and not be shackled by people’s opinions.

I choose to be advised, advice and always be there to make sure my input and output is necessary

I choose to fall in love and make you mine, crush on someone and tell them get accepted or rejected life goes on.

I choose a French kiss over french fries, french wine over dirty whine.

I choose to bring good vibes to every place I go , whether at a sad place or a joyous one.

I choose to approach my crush, knowing my heart will crash

I choose to be an ambivert.

I choose to feel free the weight on mines shoulders unburdened.

I choose to build and

I choose to be alone, locked up in my room and scream out the pain from deep inside me.

I choose to be who I am for millions of sperms never made it to this light of day .

I choose to stick it out no matter how rough and tough it gets.

I choose to make love, fore play and role play with my partner as we both have fun.

I choose not to be jealous, feed my ego or even shift blame

I choose to make merry not only on holidays but every day my breathe ain’t yielding .

I choose to work out and be healthy

I choose freedom

I choose life

I choose good food

I choose music

I choose knowledge

I choose love

I choose peace

I choose my imperfections

I choose honesty

I choose to date

I choose happiness

I choose memes

I choose you and me

I choose comfort

I choose information

I choose self worth

I choose to stand against discrimination

 Hope my choice is clear

Ave been tried and tested

Challenged and bested

Now am calm and collected

Since am alive and rested

Acknowledged that all has been battles and the war is yet to come.

The scores of humanity scattered like trash.

Dragged and drained , standing up in the face of adversity.

Lied to and been reckless

Conned and confessed it.

Loosing my way in search of the highway .

Looking my way in dismay and judgment pointing fingers and giggling.

Abandoned even by my shadow at my darkest hour.

Knelt without a word to say in prayer and stood up feeling the weight lifted.

Drunk and disoriented , made a choice not to indulge any more.

In the looking glass been trapped, as the sad of times is cast on me training me to service.

Held against my will only to realise the best to help didn’t care whether I heal.

Played this game of life and scored yet felt like I was still at nil.

But through all this Am yet to quit and bleed , for the only vice to eliminate is greed.

So please my words heed , ” everyone is battling their own demons, don’t pile it on for a coin or two”

A unit is nothing short of oneness in its endeavor.

Living our truth, though blacked out and the sun already set I can see shade.

I graze with my own two eyes, as I gaze aimlessly wondering what if in another I was.

A meal like kangaroo as the plates are bounced from me to the next, gaucking in salivation awaiting the remnants.

A tailor patched up Sunday best, a struggle is where I belonged.

“Once upon a time” but that’s a constant to me that seem to change for others.

A day will come

Double Entendre

So check it , am but chilling out.
Nothing much just but day dreaming
Wondering what’s next or what’s to come.
Filled with fear, fear of the unknown
But still soldiering on like life’s like a big old stage
There goes my thoughts.

And finally my lips are parted
Cracked up but still moist
Taking my time to utter out
Composed but blabbering on
Those are just but my words

All that i can ever be
Nothing that you can never see
Living comfortably making it worthwhile
Never lacking, always wanting and everyday searching.
More spacious than a castle
Thats what I call living in my head

Theres a star far far away
A sweet soothing melody that makes me tingle
A deep sensational feeling that ignite my senses
That simple touch that has my skin crawling
Thats what I call focusing on my memories

I took a day off just to make something of myself
On a mission myself to find
I have had visions of every kind.
A day will come when all will make sense
As for now thats but the essence
Thats what I term as a dream come true
